9 Rules to Financial Freedom | Melly

Balikpapan, Indonesia. Just like what I mentioned in my teaser, a lot of people when building their network, for the first one or two years, they earn a lot of money, but by the next year, their network is destroyed. They move to a different network, they build again from the beginning
for one or two years. The next year it’s destroyed. And so on. Like a job-hopper. Why does this happen? It turns out, the don’t have a strong foundation to build a network. I remember, if we’re building a house with a weak foundation, in a short time, that building will collapse. Especially if you’re building a skyscraper. You have to prepare a strong foundation to support that building. This reminds me of the philosophy
of bamboo. Bamboo, in its first five years will not show anything significant. It turns out, bamboo build its root downward. The root goes everywhere to take sustenance from the ground. That’s how bamboo could grow so tall in a matter of weeks. It’s the same as us. When building our network, we need a strong foundation. So we can have a big, long-lasting, solid, and worldly business. Luckily, in FFG, we have 9 Foundations. These 9 Foundations, when applied and done, will earn us long-term passive income. And it’s proven. Our friends in FFG have done these 9 Foundations, and until this day, they’re enjoying non-stop passive income. There are 9 Foundations
we need to pay attention to. The first one is Edification. The second foundation is No Crosslining. The third foundation, Consultation. The fourth foundation is Books. The fifth foundation is Meetings. The sixth foundation are CDs and DVDs. The seventh foundation, Integrity. The eighth foundation, Commitment. And the ninth is Duplication. I’ll start with the first. The first foundation is Edification. Edification is when we’re giving a positive extra value, to something or someone. The objective of Edification is making it easy for us to do this business. Sometimes, when we’re trying
to convince prospects, they don’t quite believe us. That’s when we need a third party. And in this case, it’s our Upline. Our closest Upline who knows, they’ll convince our prospects. That’s when we need to Edificate our Upline. We’ve often heard Edification in the media, TV, or from people. For example, if I invite Rudy Hartono today, to come and speak about badminton, I’m sure everyone will listen. Why? Because Rudy Hartono has been Edified everywhere. And he has proven his
success in badminton. It’s the same with our business. We need Edification. Who do we need to Edify? First, our company. And then products, support system, Upline, and even Downline. Sometimes, we also need to Edify Crossline. With Crossline, we have to see
the situation and condition. In conclusion, Edification is how we work smart to build our business. The second point, the second foundation is No Crosslining. The example of No Crosslining is like this. In the beginning, you will
build 2 groups, A and B. Group A and B are called Crossline. Group A doesn’t need to meddle
in Group B’s business. And Group B doesn’t need to meddle
in Group A’s business. If they meddle in each other’s business, it’s called Crosslining. Crosslining doesn’t have a direct impact. But if done constantly, it’s a matter of time, one year or two years, or even five years in the future, their network will collapse. Crosslining isn’t easy to understand. And it takes time to understand. The example of Crosslining is like this. There’s a company, it’s impossible for the boss
to gather the managers and announce the amount of their salary. That’s Crosslining. And its the same in this business, we can’t mix Group A and B together. Network marketing experts said that a lot of network marketing is being built and collapsing. Rebuild and collapsing. One of the cause is Crosslining. As time goes by, you’ll understand what Crosslining is. The conclusion is to focus. Don’t meddle in other people’s business, but focus on you and your network. Focus on your team. So practice No Crosslining and your network will grow big. The third foundation is Consultation. Consultation is asking, coming and learning, from someone who have achieve things we haven’t. And in this case, it’s our Upline. So the importance of Consultation is, because we don’t know our mistake, because we can’t see it. The closest Upline, those with experience, they can let us know the right way. You have to get used to doing Consultation, when your network is still small. Why? Because your network will
grow bigger in time, and it’ll be expensive if we
didn’t start early on. Because it takes time to fix a mistake
when you’re network is big. And its important to consult to save money, time, energy, and we won’t make unnecessary mistakes. A tip for Consulting, we have to ask, not question. If we question, it means that we don’t trust our Upline. And we don’t come to complain, but to search for a solution. As an Upline, when a Downline ask a question
we’re not sure about, it’s better to consult it with our Upline. But we’re also in this process to learn. When it comes to Consultation, we need to be open. Be honest for our own good. For example, like we’re going to a doctor. When we’re asked, we answer honestly about
our health problem. So the doctor can give us the
best solution for our health. So in this business we have to be open. So our Upline can give us
the proper solution. When it comes to Consultation, we have to consult the appropriate person. In this case, it our Upline or Mentor, who are active in this business. Which is FFG. One certain thing, if you want to succeed in any field, you have to learn from a successful person. So make use of Consultation. The fourth foundation is Reading books. Books are an important foundation when building a network marketing. There are a lot of benefit
we get from reading books, such as always thinking positively, gaining knowledge, we can learn from successful people, about their attitude, how they faced challenges and finding a solution. We also learn about leadership, people skill, and relation skill. And all of those are for our mental development too. One certain fact, all the successful people in the world are readers. We’re lucky to be in FFG, because we have incredibly
fantastic program and that is Personal Growth Program 3×21. 3×21 program is a program that urged us to create a positive habit. This habit deliberately forces us to keep growing in a positive way. One of them is by reading books. In FFG, there are several suggested books, such as Business School, The Magic of Thinking Big, Personality Plus, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and other books. I recommed a book called Value Your Life by Onggy Hianata. This book is incredibly fantastic because I’ve read it, and it inspired me. Because this book will help you achieve what you want. There is a great quote I found. The reader today is the leader of tomorrow. So if you want to be successful, make a habit of reading early on. The fifth foundation is Attending meetings. Because in these meetings, we’re gathered with positive, successful and people who wants to grow. We’re lucky to be in FFG because
we have routine meetings, like Welty Cell, D&A Nite, and International Mentor Meeting. In these meetings we’ll get many benefits, such as keeping our momentum
constantly high, cleansing us from negative viruses, and charging our energy to always be positive. Remember, who you surround yourself with, can determine your future. The sixth foundation is Listening to CDs. We’re lucky to be in FFG, because we have Networking Mastery CDs. In these CDs, we’ll be guided step by step, to professionally build our network. So whatever your background, wherever you are, you can build a global network marketing. So CDs are the best tools to duplicate the way we work. Because it comes from the same source, FFG. The conclusion is whoever you are, depends on the people around you, the books you read, and the CDs you listen to. The seventh foundation is Integrity. A lot of books on successful people or even books on personality discusses about integrity. Integrity is one of the keys to success, maintaining reputation. A lot of things can lead to us
losing our integrity, such as stealing other people’s Downline, influencing others to change network, talking bad about other people’s network or other MLM. Even the small things like coming in late, absences, talking negatively, complaining, those small things can cause
us to lose integrity. Integrity is doing what you say. People don’t follow what you say, but people follow what you do. The eighth foundation is Commitment. Commitment is a promise you
make to yourself or others that are reflected on your action. A lot of people failed in not only
business but a lot of fields. Because they don’t commit. They start but they don’t finish. If you want to succeed in any business, you have to have commitment. You start, so you have to finish it until you succeed. So if you want to succeed in this business, commit to the company, Upline, Downline, support system, and especially, commit to yourself. So if you want to succeed, hold on to your commitment. Succeed or succeed. The ninth foundation is Duplication. If you want to earn passive
income in this business, the key is Duplication. Duplication is when my Downline can do what I’m doing. Whatever their background, everyone can do it. If that keeps going, just imagine. Passive income will happen. The good kind of Duplication
needs a system, and will come from one source, FFG. For example, FFG released a program, 3×21. And the whole world will be doing 3×21. FFG have a Mentoring Program, and the whole world is doing
Mentoring Program. Just imagine. If the whole world, your network is doing the same
thing, Mentoring Program, the impact of Duplication is passive income. There are some things that
can’t be Duplicated. Like presentations that are too long, paying for someone to join, and creating your own tools, That will destroy the system itself. So remember, whatever you’re doing, remember the Duplication impact. The right and proper Duplication will create Multiplication. Multiplication is the thing that
