  3. Hi Lee. First of all, thank you a lot for sharing your videos with us. I'm from Chile, I have 19 years old and I play badminton since 2006.Now I am training seriously Badminton (5-6 times a week with a coach). I have 2 questions: Q1)What kind of exercises or fitness habits do you suggest us to prevent injuries but at the same time improve as faster as possible. Q2) What shots, footwork or drills can we practice in our houses in front of a mirror (or not) when we can't go to a gym? Bye.

  4. Hi there thank you for coming to my chennel. 1. What ever training you do there is chance of having injury. Not only heavy training brings injury the best way to provent injury is training step by step do 1 and then 2 then 3 not after 1 then do 5 or 6. You must always 100% focused in any training as you are focuced you less likely get injured. Often players get injured when they are doing something without focus. continue…

  5. 2. You can do wrist training, sit up, leg training and wahtcvh video of good players' matches and learn from it. Most important thing is to understand the logic and principles so you are more likely doing right training with right attitude. I hope my answer give you some good ideas otherwise please come back to me. Lee

  6. i know many players are doing that but if their racket is more in centre then it will be even better. there is no reason why player's racket hanging down is better then preperly placed. Let say if you are having a match point in a match and if you win this match you will make £100,000, would you put your racket hanging down or would you be ready by placing your racket at the middle of your body and totally prepare for opponent attack. Lee

  7. You are very welcome. Lee

  8. Hi lee, very nice video,i got one question
i can not make jump in center rightly, always i make 2 or no one=(
give me advice how can i training it)and when i must jump, during stroke or after
    thank you in advance=)

  9. The first landing step is to see where the shuttlecock is going and second small step os to push your body to te direction where the shuttlecock is heading. Sometime you do not need secomd small step and some time you need it. When? there are many factors whether or not you need the second small step as if you are too late, you sense it already, shuttlecock is going bit high, you have to have it regardsless because otherwise you can not change directions and so on. All these can be decided …..

  10. after the first landing step. Practise the second )double small step with muti shuttlecock as well as one small step saparatly. If you practice a lot then after the first step your instict will tell you if you need the second one. Much practice is needed. If it is not clear then please ask again. Lee

  11. Hi Coach Lee,
Question about which foot to jump off of. The male player is left handed and jumps off his right foot at the back. The female player is right handed and jumps off her left foot at the back. Is there any correlation between the hand and which foot to jump off of? Any benefits? or just personal preference. Thank you.

  12. If a player is right handed then in normal footwork he should jumped by right foot and left handed player should be jumped by left food. There are other kind of footworks then it can be changed but standard way is what I explained above. Lee
