Did you know that by keeping your centre of gravity low you can reach shots faster?
Your centre of gravity is a point in your body where your weight is completely balanced.
When standing, this point is just below your belly button. However as you move around your
centre of gravity also moves about. This is why we can become unbalanced at times. By
keeping a low centre of gravity you become more grounded. This makes it harder for you
to tip over. It’s like when you’re standing straight
and someone tried to push you over, you’re less likely to fall if your legs were bent
and shoulder width apart. By lowering your centre of gravity while playing
badminton, you’ll find that it becomes easier and requires less work than if you were to
