We are one week out from the first Friday night lights of the football season. He says they will rely heavily on their run game. with a backfield consisting of three experienced seniors including last year’s leading rusher Dylan Yeomans yo-menz. I think this team could go really far. A lot of effort by the young kids and it’s good to see. The idea to win a football game is still pretty simple whether it’s a group like we had last year or this group this year that’s got to prove themselves. That’s to block and tackle and take care of the football. So those are the things that we are going to focus on and have our guys have the opportunities to make plays every Friday night and it’s our job as coaches during the week to get them ready to go. Bill Hannah enters year number-three as head coach at Viroqua. It has been a rebuilding process. But he hopes things begin to pay off in 2016. A strong line. a switch to a new 4-3 defense. and returning plenty of experience on both sides of the ball. Our line is probably going to be our heart and soul of our offense and our defense. Those seniors have spent a lot of time in the weight room this summer, they’ve gotten kids together to run some captain practices and do those extra things that will hopefully give us some success this year. There’s just a lot of comrodorie built between us. We’ve been through countless losses and I mean we’re just kind of sick of it. We want to turn it around and I think this is the year to do it.
