‘Sri Lankan conditions can test you in different ways’ – BJ Watling

a Cabana to a man cárdenas Nokia Android smartphone in America mankini yeah we had a good training yesterday a good head out it was nice and warmest day it actually was probably one of the hottest days we’ve had since Albania so the boys enjoyed getting back out there getting rid of a few cobwebs and yeah I mean we’re in a good space I think well obviously very disappointed to lose that match we had we had ourselves in some positions that we definitely felt that we could have won it and we would probably let them slip a fraction so we felt like we played some pretty good cricket over the five days and hopefully we can just be that a little bit better for this game I mean we’re always working on that no one’s trying to drop a catch will miss anything and I still look back at those China they’re pretty tough chances and sometimes they stick and sometimes they don’t I think we have to give a lot of credit to Sri Lanka’s batsman especially that opening partnership they took a deep enough to obviously win their Test match and and hopefully this game we can look to make some more inroads throughout those early and you know the top order and hopefully put them in order under some more pressure okay ma baina done look yeah android smartphone when we we know it’s tough to play in subcontinent conditions things can take a while to happen but then all of a sudden you can get those bam bam wickets and it’s the same one we’re betting we can lose wickets and clumps so for me I think it’s about just taking that a little bit deeper we had a few good starts and their first innings and we probably should have scored 350 on that surface but we sort of we just let’s rank it back in the game through those periods and we just did that throughout the Test match which what’s in the end costs us so those are the types of things that we’ll be looking to rectify moving into this Test match there’s so many different wickets in the world it’s hard to say one is a tough one it was nice to score a few runs and spend some time in the middle these conditions can test you in different ways and it was just about trying to get myself in and feel what the surface had to offer and what options were available to myself out there from being honest I think I got out in the end of the quite a crucial time we had a little bit of momentum and you could feel Lanka’s slightly getting frustrated we had a couple of good low order partnerships that have put them under pressure and so that for me was a key time not to get out and these conditions if you get yourself and we need to keep going and take the game as deep as possible and we we were probably guilty of that throughout the test match so hopefully we can go a lot bigger subscribe to our YouTube channel for more videos like this and don’t forget to hit the bell icon for a latest content
