Torcedor de primeira viagem – Badminton – Rio 2016

A shuttlecock that can reach 400km/ h. An average of two thousand hits per game. Do you know what
sport I’m talking about? Today we came here
to find out if there are Brazilians watching badminton
competitions for the first time. I have seen it on television, but I
don’t know the names of the strokes. I’ve only seen it on television, and now at this Olympic Games
here in Rio. I just wanted to see something different. In fact we’re trying to watch
events that are not usual for us, those one that we
are not used to follow. I downloaded the guide
and I’ll take a look. There is a little shuttlecock, that reaches almost 100km/h. Something like that! – Keep your eyes on the shuttlecock! – Focus on the shuttlecock! I liked to see the teams winning. In general, it’s very similar to tennis. There are two sets, and the winner
is the one who finishes the second set, right? The game have 21 points. I thought it was really, really fun. I ended up winning this racket from the player who
came to play for Portugal. And I recommend it to anyone
who hasn’t watched a game yet. It’s a lot of fun. And the speed of the ball … we saw it reaching 370km/h. The great thing about this sport
is that it doesn’t have much rules. There are no fouls! Come to watch the Olympic Games… and badminton! Joy! Joy! Once more!
