  1. Lee, if I want to begin this training with 2 kg ( that's what you recommended in one of your comments…) how many times must I practice this in a week?? Imagine that I want to be very fit for next season I have to build this up to be very fit for the competition games in my region….We have a stop in july and august and I want to be explosive and quick with footwork when I start with competition games… How many times do I have to move random in corners?? So I can build up very strongly!!

  2. You should use it about three times a week. Do 1min work(shadow random corners) and 30sec rest x 10 sets, 30sec work and 20 sec rest x 20 sets

    Do that for three times a week for two weeks and please let me know how you got on. For the 1 min shadow you must push your self for 80% and when you do 30sec work, you must push your self for 100%. After the 10 sets of 1 min, you can reast about 5 min not more. then do the other 20 sets of 30sec work. Lee

  3. Excellent video sir. I have a question. I generally see players having their right leg a liitle ahead(right handed players). In this video I see the girl has the left leg ahead. What is the appropriate stance.

Good and important question, which foot should be forwarded is very much depending on where the shuttlecock is, if opponent is taking it under pressure or attacking posture, how tight shuttlecock is at the net and so on. In general, if shuttlecock is at the centre(opponent court) feet should be side by side, if it is on right side (opponent hackhand rear corner) then your left foot should be forwarded, opposit situation your right foot should be a little bit forwarded.   6. Yes it is quality and amount of training which make the result. Ordinary training makes ordinary player and imposible training make imposible player to beat. There is no trick or short cut. lee

  7. why practice doing short steps n small jumps, in a game they'll only be doing small actions instead of long lunges and getting to the shuttle as fast as possible

  8. I understand why you question that. There will be many different kind of training depending on what area you would like to improve. If you use weight jacket and make deep movement, you will not be able to do many of them and some time it is too much for player. This is to improve the start step and recovery step rather then to improve the ability of moving deep corners. Lee
