In the last couple of videos I showed you some badminton technique, So in this video, I will show you the fast feet drills that help our footwork improve So I will do all the drills that I know Each exercise will be 15 seconds long; 5 slow, 10 secs fast. In the first exercise, we don’t have slow and fast, we will just go full out fast the whole time. you will do like this in 15 seconds In this exercise we should use power and speed from our ankles, and stay low. Don’t stand up too straight take break in 15 seconds second set start. 15 seconds break For this exercise we will do 3 sets you can also do this with a partner or on your own, doesn’t matter. Get ready, set 3 start. 15 seconds rest. This next exercise we will go like this: Jump up and back, and we will do this 5 seconds slow, 10 seconds fast We just do 10 seconds fast. not 15 seconds. For the 10 secs fast, you should try really fast, really hard 15 seconds rest now Start again now. Fast. In this exercise, we just do 2 sets And the next exercise, I want you to jump in a triangle shape. That is slow This is fast. We will do it in 2 set 15 Seconds break. Start again. slow… then fast 15 seconds. Breathe, as deeply as you can So make sure you have your water bottle ready so you can take a sip when you want to. The next is high knees. 5 secs slow, 10 secs fast Fast 15 seconds rest. Breathe.. Slow first. Then Fast. The next exercise is crossover high knees. Same thing: 5 seconds slow, 10 seconds fast 5 seconds slow fast. Take a little walk around in between to help your legs recover Try your best best best. Next one gonna look like this. Slow first. Breathe. Deep and deep. Start set 2. Slow first. Then fast. If you go all fast and do it right, you will get very tired. So I want you to take a deep breath now, and in the future you will get used to this Next gonna look like this. When you fast. will be like this. 5 seconds slow first. Breathe. 15 seconds breathe. So whenever you guys are watching this video, I want you to follow along all through the whole video and do it with me. With this exercise you don’t need to go fast, it’s about balance Make sure you keep your Balance. In this exercise we will do 12 times I want you to use your 100% power. Do not be weak. 2 set of this exercise. The next one gonna be burpees in 15 seconds. In 15 seconds do as many as you can Do your best. You can have water, it’s not about depriving your body 😀 you need to hydrate yourself So wherever you can find a line on the floor, base the exercise on that, and jump side to side Slow first. Use the power of your ankles In this exercise, don’t care about the time, because we will just jump 20 times knee to chest 20 times this exercise we will do 2 set. Next will be like this. Right first 1,2 Left 1,2 Make yourself a nice space Go forward and backward 1, forward and backward 2 and the 3. You should stay low and use your ankles mostly. Don’t do this way. Next one will be fast feet 5 seconds slow, 10 seconds fast. Remember this is all fast feet So each exercise we should try our best We have to go all out. Have some water. Next one You need a racket. This will look like this. We will do fast feet first and go. when you go you should explode your feet. This we don’t care about time, we will do 12 times. 2 set of this. Now we will go sides way No Fast feet this exercise. I want you to stay low This we will do 12 times 2 set. Make sure you are Explode your legs. We slow first. And explode. we will do 2 set. The last Exercise we will sprinting So we will do fast feet first and then sprinting. So that is 3 times forward now we will do 3 time backward and turn.
